Christmas cards are here, and half of every card supports a council, parish, or school.

Steeple Cards

Your whole Christmas list, in one sitting

Sit down once, go through your list, and send everyone a card, today or on the day you choose. Four steps, and most people finish in about five minutes.

  1. Pick a card

Browse the Christmas collection and open any card for a closer look. You do not need an account to look around.

  2. Write your message

Write one message for everyone on your list. If you want, add a personal line for any one person. Your name appears inside the card.

  3. Add your list

Add a name with an email address, a mobile number, or both. Type them in, paste a list you already have, or bring in a spreadsheet. Your list is saved, so next Christmas it is waiting for you.

  4. Send now, or schedule it

Send your cards right away, or choose a day and time for them to go out, up to 60 days ahead. Write your Christmas cards in November and have them arrive on Christmas Eve morning. If you came through a parish, council, or school link, your cards support them. Otherwise, your cards support DeGoesbriand Council #279's community programs. You sign in with a short code sent to your email, so there is no password to remember.

What your family and friends see

An email from you, with a preview of the card. One button opens it full screen: the artwork, your message, and a short line about the cause your card supported.

Common questions

Does the person I send to need an account?

No. They get an email or a text from you with a link to the card. It opens full screen in the web browser on their computer, phone, or tablet. There is nothing to download and there are no ads.

Can I send a card by text message?

Yes. Every card has its own private link. After you send, tap Text this card to send it from your own phone, so it arrives from someone they know.

Can I schedule my cards to arrive on a certain day?

Yes. When you send, choose Send on a date, then pick a day, up to 60 days ahead, and a time: morning (8 a.m.), afternoon (1 p.m.), or evening (6 p.m.), Eastern time. Until then, you can change the date, send them right away, or cancel them from My Cards, and canceled cards go back to your balance. For anyone on your list with only a mobile number, we'll email you a reminder with their card links when your cards go out, so you can text them.

Can they write back to me?

Yes. Replies to the card email come straight to you, and replies to a text come to your phone.

What if they don't see the email?

Cards are sent from a dedicated, verified address to keep them out of spam folders. If someone can't find it, tap Text this card to send them the link directly.

Can they print the card?

Yes. Anyone who receives a card can print it at home on one sheet of letter paper, folded in half twice, with the picture on the front.

What happens to cards I do not use?

Your credits never expire. Cards you buy at Christmas are ready for Easter, and for sympathy and Mass cards when those arrive.

Can I send cards if no parish, council, or school sent me?

Yes. Anyone can send Steeple Cards. If you came to us on your own, your cards support DeGoesbriand Council #279 in Burlington, Vermont, and its community programs, like Boxes of Love and the Winter Coat Drive. Read our story to see why Council #279. To get started, go to Send a card.

How does my parish or council get its share?

Half of what you pay, after card processing fees, goes to the organization your cards support, for the program they choose. It is paid to them automatically every month.

Can I send a printed card by mail?

Not yet. Printed cards, mailed for you with your personal message inside, are planned for Christmas 2027.
